Haven't posted in ages. I have a litany of excuses but will not bore you with them...at least not all of them. Granted posting was on my round-to-it list but I was easily distracted.
I did vacation in June with dear friends in Virginia but not without events other than visiting historical sites (one of my favorite things to do), enjoying pleasant conversation and eating good seafood. My friend's hubby managed to have an accident involving a riding mower that has him out of commission until the snow flies.
It was also a working vacation as revision time rolled around for my new/old story. This involves major edits including search for repeat words. Almost fell out of my chair when I viewed the number of times I used "that" in the manuscript. Then there were the phrases "It was" and "There was" when starting a sentence. But I will not bore you any further with the nitty-gritty of writing.
As for future blogs, I will be doing one on Mohawk Indians circa 1600's, the D-Day Memorial, the role of Chinese in the United States and our Founding Fathers.
For now I must get back to doing my revisions.
