Negotiating this new site is a lesson in persistence. It has been a while since I've posted. Sometimes life gets in the way. On the other hand, I've taken up a new hobby. Collecting odd bits from the newspaper. The front page, above and below the fold, can be very depressing. I prefer to read the fillers. I know the old saying that if it bleeds it leads but how much blood can one handle. Back to the topic at hand. I do love to read the items under the heading "ODD NEWS". The item today was a good one. It took place in Elyria, Ohio. It seems there was a woman who earned a cleaning service was breaking into houses, cleaning them and leaving a bill behind for $75.00 along with her name and address on a paper napkin so the people could send her payment for her services. She never took anything but she still ended up in jail on a burglary charge. Guess it is still breaking and entering even if you don't take anything. Talk about showing customers what kind of work you do! Nevertheless I think word of mouth from customers would work better.
