Good news

Time marches on and once again I am playing catch up. Drat!

So much has happened since my last entry. Gwyn and I took a trip to Orlando on March 1st to have lunch with our Publisher Lee Emory. We started out in wind and rain and ended with wind and sunshine. We spent several enjoyable hours with Lee. It was great to put a face with a name.

After we left Lee we went to a fund raiser my granddaughter's fraternity was hosting for the local animal shelter in her area of Orlando. And, yes, Charlotte belongs to a fraternity. It is for students in Criminal Justice. Probably didn't explain that clearly but you get the gist.

Had good news this week. Had a call from my editor and we are now in process with my upcoming book, Emeralds On Wednesday. Yipee!

You wait for years for this to happen and it seems like all of a sudden it's here. Of course, it is part of the hurry up and wait process that is part and parcel of the writing/publishing world. However, that does not change the fact that it is exciting.
