Happy New Year

Here we are at the end of 2011. This morning I was thinking about the coming of the year 2000. I was at Wal-Mart on New Year's Eve buying sauerkraut for dinner on New Year's Day. (My mother always said you would have bad luck if you didn't it on New Years and mom knows best :)

Anyway the gentleman in front of me was preaching gloom and doom and the end of the world and how everything was going to go haywire. I had to remind him that parts of the world had already gone into the New Year...like Australia and I was sure it would have made CNN or Fox news if something terrible had happened. We all know that bad news travels fast.

Well here we are ready to go into 2012 by the Gregorian Calendar and there is a prediction of more gloom to come. Don't believe it. Live each day with gusto and keep a smile on your face. After all we can only live one day at a time.

So I wish all my readers a very Happy and Prosperous New Year. Keep in mind that the best is yet to come.
